Cheap Student Airline Fares

I do not know about you but I am not made of money. I have been in school now for about six years and have no intention of leaving anytime soon. There are so many benefits to being a student and the one thing I like the most about it is that there are student discounts on everything you buy. I cannot remember the last thing that I spent full price on from food to tickets of all sorts. The top choice for student things is the fact that I can get cheap student airline fares. You never know what your bank account will look like when you and your buddies decide to hop on a plane and head to Vegas for the week. Tons of people drive and that is a lot of fun but the fact remains that gas is expensive and is only going up but the cheap airline fares are pretty much here to stay. I have been able to get cheap student airline fares no matter what the economy is like and no matter what the gas prices are. So while my friends that decided to drive are still on the road spending a ton of cash on gasoline I am sipping a drink at the hotel waiting for them to arrive. I try to explain everyday that there are cheap student airline fares available to all of us with a student ID card but very few people actually listen to me. I have gone to Panama City with a cheap student airline fare and saved almost a hundred dollars off of what the rest spent on gas and I got two extra days on the beach in Florida while they got road rage. I am not sure how the airlines can get away with giving such a huge discount on airline fares to students but they seem to be doing alright. Maybe they know that college students tend to travel in large groups and they view it as a group discount airfare rate. Whatever the reason for the cheaper student fares it does not matter to me, I win out every time. Actually the worse the economy gets the worse off the airlines seem to be doing and the cheaper the student airline fares tend to get. I find my cheap student airline fares on a number of different websites. The key is that you cannot care what airline you buy your airline fare from. The companies seem to take turns offering the best deal since they never have the really cheap student airline fares at the same exact time. With anything you have to be persistent and pay attention to what the market is doing and pick the cheapest student fare. A lot of the airlines offer different size student discounts. Sometimes the cheapest airline fare works out to be because the airline gave a percentage discount off of their already cheap airfares. Sometimes the cheap student airline fares are a result of a flat rate off of each airline fare purchased. The bottom line is that n matter what the reason is for the large amount of student discounts offered by the airline industry and all other businesses, I know that as long as I have a student identification card in my pocket more cash stays in there with it.
